Wah-wah
You’ve given me a wah-wah
And I’m thinking of you
And all the things that we used to do
Wah-wah, wah-wah
Wah-wah
You made me such a big star
Being there at the right time
Cheaper than a dime
Wah-wah, you’ve given me your wah-wah, wah-wah
Oh, you don’t see me crying
Oh, you don’t hear me sighing
Wah-wah
I don’t need no wah-wah
And I know how sweet life can be
If I keep myself free from the wah-wah
I don’t need no wah-wah
Oh, you don’t see me crying
Hey, baby, you don’t hear me sighing
Oh, no no-no no
Wah-wah
Now I don’t need no wah-wahs
And I know how sweet life can be
If I keep myself free of wah-wah
I don’t need no wah-wah
Wah-wah…
Am starting to think george was the most talented of the Beatles. As I get older I am appreciating him more and more. It's too bad he was always overshadowed by McCartney and Lennon but clearly he was a super talent in his own right. Rock on george you are one of the greats!
This what Oasis has always tried to do with every song they wrote. And they never quite captured it. They come close a few times, real close, but they never did manage to match this song's magnificence.
When i bought this album back in 1970..i get home ,put on side 1, sit in the recliner and my jaws drops to the basement floor, after i retrieve it, the exact same thing happens for sides 2, 3, & 4 !!! Mindblowingly great !!! Love and miss you George Harrys-son......
Sad that the Beatles couldn't embrace George as a legit song writer and get passed their different tastes and instead work together to fuse them into the next decade after the 60's. This song just shows how on fire George was after their split, but I guess this what you get when you let a caged bird free.
My dad passed away yesterday. He listened to nothing but George Harrison, Nirvana, Roxy Music, David Bowie and the Talking Heads. I must've hears this song about 400 times in the past year. He loved George so much it brought tears to his eyes and now it really brings them to mine. I love you dad, and I hope you're finally at peace now.

Wah Wah George's frustration with Paul for not wanting him to play on Hey Jude and Yoko's meddling in trying to break up the band. he got frustrated on the Let It Be taping, went home and wrote this song. R.I.P. George. No musician today could hold a candle to you.
