forgive me lord
those that feel they can t afford you
Help me lord, there s no place that you re not in oh Harrison, to burn out this desire
To rise a little higher, help me lord Lord, hear me lord
Won t you please, hear me lord
There s no place that you re not in oh, hear me lord
those years when i ignored you
Hear me lord, hear me lord Lord, hear me lord
Help me lord, hear me lord
To burn out this desire, hear me lord Hear, hear me lord
Above and below us out and in, forgive them lord Lord, hear me lord
to burn out this desire
help me lord
To love you with more feeling, forgive them lord
Hear me lord, won t you hear me lord
Help me lord, to the left and the right Hear, help me lord
won t you please
those that feel they can t afford you
won t you please
help me lord
at both ends of the road
To burn out this desire, hear me lord Me, hear me lord
To burn out this desire, help me lord, those years when i ignored you
Above and below us out and in, hear me lord, to rise a little higher
It's inspiring to see the number of recent posts on this site. I am old enough to say I bought this album when it was released and have never grown tired of it.
Feeling this song on a deep level with God. Oh George you were plugged into the Father more than people knew. Thank you for blessing us all with these touching songs.
Still my go-to song when things are up or down. George plaintively reminding me who's in charge, and it ain't me! Thank you Lord for George Harrison. My spirit rises. God's blessings abound.
These songs meant so much to me as a teenager, beginning my spiritual search in an environment that wasn't very spiritual. These tunes assured me that I wasn't crazy. There's so much sincerity in these grooves, it gave me a lot of strength. Now I have kids who learn about G-d every day. I may be of a different religion than George, but I will be forever grateful for his inspiration and courage to write, perform and release songs about a yearning for G-d. I am forever grateful for the influence he has had on my life.
Just watched both parts of Scorsese' s documentary on George Harrison. Kept bringing tears to my eyes. Even after all these years I still miss him dearly. A man I never met except through his music. Truly a blessing. A gift from the spiritual relms. I pray to meet him in the afterlife, other world. Or wherever our energy goes from here. Thank you George, thank you!
you need a pick-me-up? Some energy? Relieving some stress? Need a hug? Scream from happiness? You feel sad? Just close your eyes and listen to this meditational bomb of sensational harmony. Man I love this song so much.

Hard to believe that this was passed over for inclusion on Let it Be. I can think of one or two tracks which could easily have made way for it. The Beatles albums would have been even better if a few more of George's songs had been included.
