This is without doubt one of the best versions of this song. I wore out my original record as a kid and I am pleased that I can now access the song again. The Fifth Dimension have never received enough credit for this song.

This song comes from the album Aquarius, which I wore out as a kid. Listen to those vocals! Billy Davis Jr is the great unacknowledged soul singer of the 60's and 70's. What a voice that guy had/has!

Up till I heard this version on Age of Aquarius the only other version I knew of was the Sylvers version. I always said they Sylvers were influenced by the 5th...didn't realize how much.
