The people who gave this a thumbs down don’t know good music. This is good classic music

Bought my first Sly and the Family Stone album in 1972. $ 3.99 at JM Fields in Ocala FL. Cut grass, cleaned pools, painted rooms. Eighth grade. Came Home. Panasonic Stereo. Listened to this album until the grooves literally wore out.

One of the most SOLID FUNK GROOVES ever recorded.....Sly & the Family Stone smoked it at the very beginning....this music was new for its time....first generation FUNK!!!! James Brown, and George Clinton were refining their brand at this time also, but Sly & the Family Stone were setting their own pace. A great groove here

Sly and the Family Stone were badass funky mfers, before Rick James, Parliament. They made funk and genre, their library of music is one of the best!

One of the greatest funk songs of all time, with an epic slap bass riff that defined what funk sounds like.
