Clearly the druggiest tune on this album. Amazingly chill. And listen to that groove on 1:24 - 1:38! That is like the funkiest, stankiest slow groove on earth. I just keep playing that little part over and over :P

The song is suppose to imitate him crying that is why their isnt much words.i meant just like the whole album.this is his most emotional album.u have to just feel when listening to it

That's Bobby Womack playing that lead blues guitar riff on this song.

I feel bad that the drugs ruined his life, but he is still the best at what he does. Being on drugs was a downfall but who are we to judge, keep writing and playing Sly as long as God allows you bless you my brother!

Aww man, this used to be my jam back in da day. In fact the whole album. Senior 73'. I had forgotten all about this song. I literally used to lie on the floor with a speaker on each side of my head and listen to this. This song was neo-soul before neo soul.

so, John Legend's They dont have to know sampled this, but i also hear this sound on Childish's Baby Boy. I love all 3 of these songs in their own respect

THIS IS ONE OF THE FUNKIEST JAMS OF THAT ERA. ITS SO FUNKY IT COULD EVEN BE GOSPEL. THAT BASS LINE IS DOPE
