Such a good song... definitely one of my favorites of theirs. And that bass line!!!!! It's so fun to play :) I miss rock bass lines like this in modern music..... smh

My deepest respects to dave Formula who, along with Colin Moulding of XTC rank amongst the greatest artesans of late 70ies music. His choice of sounds and musical architecture always teases and pleases me. Gracias from Buenos Aires.

I'm hearin u man, I bought this album back in 78 when it first came out, and every other Magazine album after that. All great stuff, very underrated group, sadly. At least we know how awesome they were :))

Your furniture's are meant to injure me. The chorus line "I want to see you don't you want to see me?" Appears in a Bette Davis movie somewhere. Howard Devoto is without doubt the most GENEROUS of artists and shall always hold a fabulously high place in our estimation. Ain't that right, baby?

I saw these guys in the early 80s, and they just blew me away -- Howard DeVoto had a stage presence like I'd never seen, dressed in beat up army attire and a leather jacket: at one moment quite Nazi-like and feral, the next a cringing victim. Their music captured and still does a lot of the ambiguity and unease of modern life. Still listening to them 35 years later.
