i was very young when the radio anounce at 7 oclock the death of jim reeves by plane crashed. very very sad until now.

My mother and Dad loved Jim Reeves. I learned to sing harmony while listening to Jim Reeves songs. I have four sisters. We all learned to sing harmony with Jim. It was like we were his backup singers. I still sing backup to Jim and I am 67 years old. I miss singing with my sisters. One day, God willing, we will meet in Heaven and literally sing with Jim. That would be a dream come true.

It seems that with today’s generation the worse the music is to listen too the more that it is loved by those who walk around like street bums with tattoos all over their bodies. I miss seeing. hearing and talking to people with quality, instead of swearing because they see it as being cool.

I grew to love Jim Reeves through my dad. I miss you daddy. RIP
