RIP Phil Lynott!! What an amazing voice, what a rare talent..... he is so sorely missed. Lynott's voice is the ONLY one I can hear, in this role. Him and Justin Hayward (♥ be still my heart..sigh!) are the reason I bought this double vinyl set.... damn... 40 some-odd years ago! ( I had to save up my baby-sitting money for it, for a month!)
I grew up listening to this musical adaptation of H.G. Wells' classic novel. Read the book when I was about seventeen and was amazed at how the musical adaptation completely captures the whole horror and feel of the original story. Amazing writing from Wells - amazing adaptation from Wayne - and the performances are legendary! A real diamond of a creation all round! God bless. Rev. Johnny David :-)
