A man, who miraculously survived a alien invation, came all the way back to London, to find it dead and deserted. he brought himself all the way to suicide, but to be denied. Because the Martians were biologically doomed as soon as they arrived.
5:47 I'm sorry but I can't help but laugh
All of a sudden I imagine this pissed off British guy walking angrily down the street with his finger raised shouting at this dead machine to kill him
"Why haven't you done it yet, can you even hear me you wanker? What are you, bloody deaf? Kill me already!
To the host of this channel:
Thank you for uploading this album. There were some issues with the absence of the first track and the order in which other tracks were placed, but you and your brethren did a very good job.
Something not many people know is that Richard Burton did all of his narration in just one take with a glass of whiskey in his hand - perfect the first time. What an absolute professional he was.
I have no issue with them updating the story to bring it to a brand new audience, but you cannot beat the power, passion and pure gravitas of Richard Burton's beautiful original, RIP Mr Burton you truly were one of a kind.
The opening of Dead London is so atmospheric. The gentle whistle of the wind fading in, the haunting sound of an owl, the desolate destruction of London reduced to a smouldering ruin, and the beautiful, sombre first minute and a half just perfectly sums up the loneliness. Pure genius.
It wasn't bacteria the Martians just used there last AA batteries in a Game Boy instead of the heat-ray
Silly jokes aside this song is both beautiful and creepy
