I first heard this guy on Frank Zappa's Overnight Sensation album and I decided that I had to hear more of him so I bought this album and was completely blown away. Thank You FZ for introducing me to Jean Luc Ponty. I will be forever grateful.

I just want to say in 1975 I was a 20 year old Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan wheen I was turned on to Jean-Luc! I fell in love with Upon the wings of music the first time I heard it! Still to this day I listen to it with my headphones on! Amazing album!
