Attending nursing school at Wenatchee Valley College. Living off campus in a large house apartment building. 1981. This very ordinary guy moves in. I think he wanted to be a CPA. Anywho he was into JLP and I thank him to this day for introducing him to me!

Yes JLP is awesome, and original and unique; started listening to him back in the 80's. Wished I could have seen him in concert, a time then when I explored a lot of jazz and blues, good times!

WoW, just heard on XM Jazz station in car. Faith In You, blew my mind, fantastic sound, unique and absolutely heavenly sounds.

starts at 2:28 - That part, so beautiful, and after... It sounds like a Super Mario 64's world or something, such a dreamed sound...

So timeless - it affects me now exactly as it did when I first heard it in '87. I love it.
