Oh this song, I was born in the early 60's and came of age in the 70's. Remember my parents getting a Cat Stevens album from those mail order record places. Heard and loved Moonshadow. Never understood the meaning of "being followed by a moon shadow". In '93 was DX'd with a CNS disease. Since then I lost use of one leg, then the other, now one hand, the other barely works and my vision is failing. It all means nothing. Just wake up each day and be happy that you did.

Saw him sing this in concert in 1974..Went home with my wife and conceived our son..I wanted to name him Cat, but she declined and we named him Steve.
