This is one of those songs you heard at a rave once and then spent 10 years hearing in your head with no clue what it's name is or who made it until you finally one day hear it again. Basically, a classic.
I had a job as a machinist at a huge ceramics plant in the mountains of Colorado as a kid. I would take the bus there and this track was my walk to work in the morning track. The misty mountains and huge industrial buildings were in deep contrast with each other and went perfect with this track. I had a tape with all my favorite tracks from this period. They were beautiful mornings! It brings me to tears to hear this. It reminds me of growing up and working my first real job.
Middle aged. In office. With my headphones. Not too loud – don't want to distract my colleagues. If they only knew about the memories that are popping inside my head right now.
