It’s hard to believe He still loves me
Knowing how wrong I have been
When all I can say is I’m sorry
When all I can feel is my sin
He understands when all I do is cry
He feels the hurt that no one can see down inside
And when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands my tears.
You may not believe that I’m broken
For all you can see is my smile
Oh but He hears the heart that’s unspoken
And He gives me strength through each trial
He understands when all I do is cry
He feels the hurt that no one can see down inside
And when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands my tears.
Oh when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands when no one else can
He understands my tears.
I did not know much about this family.
So I did some research
and they have been thru a lot
- parents were holocost survivors
- cancer, death of baby, disease, addiction
so they know whereof they sing.
I have an even greater respect and appreciation for them now.
May God bless them as they work for Him
and may God protect them from all evil and cover them with His Grace.
When my sister die I was in a very bad state of depression our Lord touched me OM my shoulder and whispered in my ear john Joan's safe she is with me ,
your cries have awoken the master, is the most beautiful song that I have ever heard, and everyone needs to know this, because there's lots of people who doesn't know God and his grace for us..I was one for two many year's of my life...God is Good. amen
He understands my tears...
It's hard to believe He still loves me
Knowing how wrong I have been
When all I can say is I'm sorry
When all I can feel is my sin
He understands when all I do is cry
He feels the hurt that no one can see down inside
And when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands my tears.
You may not believe that I'm broken
For all you can see is my smile
Oh but He hears the heart that's unspoken
And He gives me strength through each trial
He understands when all I do is cry
He feels the hurt that no one can see down inside
And when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands my tears.
Oh when the words get in the way I know He still hears
For He understands when no one else can
He understands my tears.
This song has spoken to my heart because I feel like this is exactly what I'm going through most days and when I'm in church and I get down on the altar to pray sometimes all I do is sit there and cry but I know that God does understand all of my tears. In Psalms 139:4 it says, "For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it all together." And this verse has also helped me to remember that He knows exactly what my heart has to say.
