Remember when you'd be excited to open up a new album because of the posters and album jacket artwork?  Some even contained the lyrics to the songs.  When I bought 'Strawberry Letter 23' is was scented like strawberries.

Brothers Johnson started as a studio jazz back up band for Quincy Jones in the early 70's. It was Quincy Jones who told the Brothers Johnson they should go on their own because they were so good as a back up band.

Great song, but it's waaay better when played along with the Quincy Jones' Rocket/Blastoff introduction.
