Sonny Rollins - Oleo free for downloading

My Dads favorite, sadly he past away........bringing the good memories back to me!

This material is from Berlin, October 30, 1965, not 1957. This track and Sonny's Blues from the same concert = some of the most amazing Rollins on record IMHO.

Sonny Rollins I caught him one night in the rain at the main music Center in Philly 1982 this cat was still burning his horn like it was 1962.

After roughly two months more practice, I ALMOST can haha :D

This sounds more like 60's Sonny than 1957. I would put it more like 1965 or 66.

NO. learn Mel-Bay first, listen to A LOT of Rhythm Changes, learn ALL of your scales all over the fret board. (Major/minor/Altered/Dominant Pentatonic etc.) Copy Charlie Parker, AND THEN...listen to your soul.
