I see a planet that’s glowing red
I see the millions burning in their beds
I see the beauty that might have been
Torn from the future by hungry men
I have the same dream every night
I wake up shaking in the morning light
I don’t know what could be expected of me
I only know that I believe what I see
And you, do you see what I see
Yeah you, do you see what I see
This isn’t quite the way I thought it would be It seems they want to make a symbol of me
I have the power that can keep us alive
It’s a sugar coated pill and it’s bitter inside
I have the same dream every night
I wake up shaking in the morning light
I don’t know what could be expected of me
I only know that I believe what I see
And you, do you see what I see
Yeah you, do you see what I see
Been checkin out the Top 40 rock charts from round when I was born (dec 84) cause I love 80s music, and this is WHY, you find these buried gems!! This sounds cool :D
Wow. Sounds....Amazing. Try to hear this in a good stereo system. LOUD... This was well ahead of its time. And today (unfortunately) there's nothing similar. This classy music style was left to die out in the 90's. There's no one left to carry the torch
IMHO, the hormonal "punk" epidemic of the 00's destroyed what was left of Rock music.
i heard this album in high school, pink vinyl. .lol..got a recording on tape and listened to it for years. one day the tape died. i went on a hunt and found a cd in Germany. it cost me $45, but worth every dime. I still listen to it. it will be a long time if ever that an album comes close to this one.
