Crying sentimental tears. The 80's was no doubt the greatest decade of all time.

My apologies folks but i couldn't help seriously shedding a few tears watching this video and a couple of other videos that reflected 80's Culture especially concerning Hip Hop, not to sound like a prude or anything but i can't help but get a bit emotional when i c jewels like this. I takes me back (and I'm pretty sure a number of u 2) to a time when even in the murkiest of conditions especially 4 those of us who came up in NYC. We had Hip Hop culture (Rapping, Deejaying, Breakdancing, Urban wear and Graffiti) to turn to as a place of solace and creativity. Racism, Sexism, Crime etc, where after thoughts it was based on the fact that those of us who where part of this phenomenon where 2 busy being immersed in some aspect of the culture such as myself (i was born in 1975). We fast forward to now and the culture itself has become another commodity for the corporate heads to suck dry and use for strictly profit driven motives only. All i can say is i thank God that i came up during the 80's and experienced the culture at its zenith and not to mention Saturday Morning Cartoons and Saturday afternoon Channel 5 Karate flicks at 12pm.
