She was one of the most important yet unrecognized talents of the 60's and early 70's. Writing hit tunes for Blood, Sweat, and Tears, The Fifth Dimension, Three Dog Night, and others. How could anyone deny her talent? I mean writing "Eli's Coming" at age 18 is mind blowing. It is sad that she didn't get popular credit for her work and her recordings.

I always liked the 5th Dimension version - you'd walk away smiling and humming. But when Laura, sings it, you want to call up Bill, take him for a beer and say, "Marry that girl, Bill - y'ain't going to do any better!"
