I let a life slip through my fingers
Where am I gonna turn?
I’m the causing of the trouble
And it makes my poor heart burn
I been tryin' to tell you people
That the blues hit me in my life
You know I was born for trouble
And it’s a hard road till I die
I’ve loved and lost so many women
The cause of many broken heart
Drank and drifted through the years
And watched my family fall apart
I’m gonna pack up my suitcase
Put my misery inside
Throw in a bit of pain and trouble
And that’s the road I’ll ride
John was in central Fla. in 1970? and I went to see him with my girlfriend Judy Youngblood, it was a great concert but I still miss that girl, would like to get in touch with her again.
Sweet. I blew my chance to see Peter Green in his prime in my youth. Nice to hear these recordings still exist. Mick Fleetwood was also in this version of the band but he had just been kicked out for being drunk...
saw peter green all male band at the k playground in Chicago 67 68 the girls where there but not playing then. A simple sound and not too loud they seem to enjoying playing for us that nite.
