Can't get any more real than this, this is great.

This was a hugely popular song to slow dance to back in the day. Really slow and romantic, especially next to perfume and a pink Angora sweater.

I saw Jack earlier this year (2019) at Clear Lake Iowa and at around 80 years of age he was quite magnificent. Such a strong voice and very very underrated by the so called critics.

In late 1958-early 1959, one lunch period I went into the sound room in the gym and decided to play some records without permission. There were always kids milling around in the gym, so it became an impromptu dance. One of the songs I played was "My True Love". That was 56 years ago and I still remember it like it was yesterday.

Love this tune, Jack was just a little bit before my time, I was 5 when this was released but love all his stuff, I just bought this 45 in fact even though I have a lot of his stuff on CD.

I was eleven years old this song was my first slow dance with a girl. You don't forget a song with that memory.

I met my wife in1958 and this is the first song we heard together and we are still listening to it today 57 years later. when my grandson got married last Sept. the DJ played MY TRUE LOVE for us and we had a dance together. what great memories from the good old days.  thank you.
