damn the delivery of the message really makes the lyrics pop differently when compared to disclosure's version of this song. lot more gravity in young frank's voice.

Lp version of Original Dorsey version of Tune, 1940  with Sinatra as Lead Singer. Compare to the 1960's recording with Nelson Riddle as Conductor and presumable the Arranger.

Sinatra returned to this many times in his career. After this Dorsey version for Columbia on his first LP The Voice in1946 arranged and conducted by Axel Stordahl. Again in 1949 for another Columba album. Then the 1960 version for Capitol with Nelson Riddle. Also at some of his live concerts which used to only be on pirated albums but some of which have since been released by both Capitol and Reprise. He also did it on some 1940s and 1950s radio shows and on TV appearances in the 1950s.

Jazzier version. The 1960 version cannot hide the sad conflicts on his life.
