She’s basically my number one idol / influence vocally. I grew up on Mariah, Whitney- I’ll always love them but somehow, I was just so blown away when I first heard Eva that was in high school over a decade ago, and at the time I sang along with her and really tried to emulate her sound. Now I just try to be myself and don’t try to emulate others anymore but when you’re young and highly impressionable... it influences you. She influenced me a lot anyway. Her voice is just one of the most beautiful I’ve ever heard.
