Issued simultaneously on Victor (24457) & Bluebird (5677) One of his best cuts of the era. Cab was fortunate in that in an era of radio racism, Cab survived it and thus most of his early records are not high dollar rarities as they sold in decent numbers and were also issued on smaller labels commonly sold in five and dime stores for about half the cost of a major label issue. Before the mid-1930s, few white radio stations played black jazz band records and thus many sold poorly. Such a shame.
