I just discovered that a good friend of mine had somehow never listened to Björk. She quipped, "If I want weird Icelandic music, I'll just listen to Sigur Rós." It disappoints me to no end that so many people write Björk off as a kook, when she's really the grand romantic of our time.

Probably one of the best songs she'd ever devised. Totally underrated, unfortunately. She'll forever be considered a genius in my heart.

My CD player was in pretty bad condition when I bought this album, but it still managed to play the whole album without any flaws. I remember thinking the static was my CD player breaking up before realizing it was part of the song.

Seriously, she is so talented, and is sadly misunderstood by a lot of people. After watching 'Dancer In The Dark' four years ago, I've been shown just how gifted, and underrated she is. Björk has an incredible gift, and if you haters truly can't see that, then I feel sorry for you. The other day I brought her up in conversation with one of my friends, and she said, 'She's a weird one that one'. And it's like, anything different, gets pulled down, so much in our society. It's a shame.
