The glacier head
Looking hard for
Moments of shine
From twilight
To twilight
Aurora
Ahh-ahh
Uhh-uhh
Utter mundane
Ahh-uhh
Aurora
Goddess sparkle
Shoot me
Beyond this suffer
The need
Is great
Aurora
Ahh-ahh
Uhh-uhh
Utter mundane
Ahh-uhh
Aurora
Goddess sparkle
A mountain shade
Suggests your shape
I tumbled down
On my knees
Fill the mouth
With snow
The way it melts
I wish
To melt
Into you
Aurora
Ahh-ahh
Uhh-uhh
Utter mundane
Ahh-uhh
Spark the sun off
Spark the sun off
Spark the sun off
Spark the sun off (for me)
I remember crossing the worldwith my fathertowards Norway, just to seethe northern lights andcross it offour bucket lists, although I stillwant to see them again, one day.We spent so manynights - and they are long there -looking for them, talking endlesslyand mostly aboutthe phenomenon. When we finally saw them light upthe sky, I looked to my sideand never saw him cry as much.
I love Bjork, this album is amazing. I just added this song Aurora to a video of an item I made (Peacock feathered deer skull) it was the only song choice for it I felt. Just a beautiful song for a beautiful item.
The lyrics around the web keep saying "utter mundane", this is incorrect. Bjork is singing one of her go-to gibberish lines in this section (even in the Icelandic version these sounds and consonants come out the same).
