Ironic that some of the most memorable drum songs were Benny's compositions, he probably had a drum set in his pad! I love "Blue's March" as well. These guys were cooler than Cool.

It is multi-layered and it's awesome to see a suite on a jazz album. This album itself is amazing. Art Blakey and the Jazz Messengers is one of my favourite groups and this is my favourite track on Moanin'. I really want this album. 

Damn that's good. I wonder if the drum rolls are played on a snare drum with the snare off or if he's all on the toms hmmm.
