What pisses me off is that Yngwie Malmsteen cites RItchie Blackmore and Hendrix as influences, but not Di Meola, Holdsworth, and Uli Jon Roth. The least he can do is take his head out of his ass for a second and mention them, because if it wasn't for them he would still be playing the blues
That's one sweet sounding Les Paul, sustain is incredible. I wish I could play that run at 2:53. Kind of chaotic sounding. I hear Zack Wilde do it sometimes.
When i hear this tune, i picture a 70's police chase, with unmarked police cars flying down the streets of San Francisco , with the light siren on the roof f the car..
This gentleman is THE Godfather of all shred, neoclassical, etc. "rock fusion", guitar. I can hear Yngwie, MacAlpine, Gilbert, Moore, etc. in just this one track alone. Al was truly an innovator and a giant technical monster for his time (and even into today). He's one of my all time favorites and still one of THE BEST guitarists on the planet IMO.
