Woody Shaw - Sweet Love of Mine free for downloading

First time I heard Woody's trumpet from Horace Silver THE CAPE VERDEAN BLUES blue note release some years ago....then there was that fantastic record he made with Freddie Hubbard called Double Take....what a fantastic musician Woody Shaw was!!!!

Mr. Najponk, I absolutely agree with you. Woody was my most favorite trumpet, cornet and flugel player.

Woody Shaw had the loudest, most brilliant trumpet in the history of jazz. On the flip side, a lot of his solos had a great deal of "incoherency". But the end is what ultimately counts, then no one had a more hip & soulful ending - time after time - then Woody Shaw!!
