Back in the day, I would be so homesick for nyc. I'd be driving home to visit and hit the Jersey Turnpike, and get within range of WBLS. A joint like this would come on and I knew that I was home.

As a kid growing up in the 90's I thought Dr. Dre and all the west coast producers were amazingly talented and creative. Now finally in my 30's im finally digging into all this funk and I realize that whole generation of west coast hip hop was basically recycled. Just didn't realize the extent of the robbery.
