Ok, I can so see this in a movie. Imagine the original Victory song during the climax, all epic and loud during a big fight scene, the war, or whatever it may be. Then at the end, when the battle has been won, this plays as the hero watches the world put itself back together. It would be epic.
For king and glory!
For crown and country!
For blood and honor!
Into battle my friends, for this is our end! But we shall never surrender! Into battle, for blood and honor!
Man, this world has a whole different feel to it. I can actually feel the glorious victory in this, compared to the feeling of a victory with great costs, which I get from the other version.
This was more fascinating than expected. Hearing the orchestra without choir, vocal solo, synthesizer and percussion just makes me wonder how much thought Thomas puts into simply creating the melody for a piece. Raw and beautiful.
A question for the notification squad:
What do you with your life? Do you just sit around refreshing every second? When do sleep? Eat? Go to the bathroom? Don't you have a job?
I can still perfectly hear the lyrics in there, even if they aren't there...
From far away
In mountains deep
In the night of blood
In the twilight sleep
The armies fight
For king and queen
There will be no
No victory
Swords collide
With power and force
As mighty men
Show no remorse
It is the time
The snow is melting
It is the time
Or reckoning
