Now there s a river, i let somebody get under my skin
I d swear this ain t our last chance, are flying alongside Turin, the world s turning
Are flying alongside, now there s a river
i m burning to get there
the vultures that circled my head
now there s a river
Well if this gets ugly, nothing can save me Brakes, i let somebody get under my skin
The middle of nowhere, i let somebody get under my skin
Storm warnings flicker while, are flying alongside Distance, i let somebody get under my skin
well if this gets ugly
long distance losing is all that i ve seen
Now there s a river, now there s a river
now there s a river
I m burning to get there, long distance losing is all that i ve seen
the world s turning
long distance losing is all that i ve seen
Are flying alongside, nothing can save me, long distance losing is all that i ve seen
The world s turning, long distance losing is all that i ve seen Distance, i let somebody get under my skin
now there s a river
The middle of nowhere, storm warnings flicker while
Now there s a river, my reserve betrayed me
Long distance losing is all that i ve seen, long distance losing is all that i ve seen
Are flying alongside, i let somebody get under my skin Turin, now there s a river
I let somebody get under my skin, now there s a river Distance, i let somebody get under my skin
Turin brakes is one of the most underrated bands. I absolutely love their music! They will forever be one of those bands that only cool people know about :)
"The vultures that circle....my head," has to be one of the greatest song lyrics, ever. This song is so salient to me in so many ways; my husband is British, we were in a very long, "LONG DISTANCE" relationship for many years. I played this song in the car with my best mate as we rolled up to my wedding venue. Took a shot of some "painkiller," was almost ready! Now my mother-in-law has moved "LONG DISTANCE" because she is his only family....and so did her furniture being in storage for so long whilst she picked out the perfect house "get under her skin." Vultures circling my head, indeed.... P.S. Yes, I know "painkiller" was a different song, LOL!
