Thanks for putting this online. I was a little kid the first time I heard it, and for some reason it really struck me. I guess it was the haunting background vocals that give it a weird, ethereal quality. I was with my whole family, sitting at the counter in a diner on a trip somewhere, and it was playing in the background.

My favorite version of this song. Love the swirling sound. Takes me right back to my teens.

I find this song incredibly mesmerizing and hauntingly beautiful. Her voice fits the melody so well.

I was 3 or 4yrs old when this great song came out. I remember some of the melody. Super song

I remember this song well as a little kid.....hauntingly beautiful! ;-)

This is an almost perfect song and recording. And it gets it all done in 2 minutes and 12 seconds.

I think this might have been the first recording to use a phase shiftier....one of my favorites when 14 yrs old......
