Silly B-side of their hit song with a Beatle-humor-influence but when Thunderclap (Andy) Newman plays his piano the sharp musicianship shines through & Jimmy McCulloch's lead guitar solo on this track is a pleasant surprise. This was back in the day when rock bands didn't always take themselves seriously & they all had this eccentric sense of humor. More Monty Python than Beatles perhaps. Nevertheless, produced by The Who's Pete Townsend -- "Something In the Air" is their classic & was the hit.

I paid $15 each 3 singles for the B sides (thatsbesides the fact) This was in 1982 - ya know Repyschedlic period. Anyone notice Andy plays over a dozen different instruments? I had his "Rainbow"LP as Circus mag used to say "worth a listen to>"Pete Townshend d=said years later he didn;t really produce it (SEE "Who Are Yo the Life of PT" book - Mark Wilkerson for all you doubters or "Where did you read that?"

I don't think Andy Newman wrote the song. My father (b.1917) had an earlier version of it on a 78 he'd had since he was a child.
