...i love the frank comments, don't get me wrong, but it's just a strange thing to come across comparing all the other jazz comment sections to this. Half the people who are into this music are twice the age as Joji, and half the Frank representation here is probably half of Joji's age. Isn't it nice how we're filling this generation gap?

First learned about Monk in a Music Theory class, and I had recognized him because my grandparents were jazz addicts. I came back to Monk and have only loved him more and more. Filthy Frank is OK, and it's totally cool that he used a masterpiece like this in his creations, no matter how silly they might seem. I hope Monk is remembered forever. I really do.

I’ve been listening to this song for years, I was born in 2006. I remember when I first found this song, It was during a choir concert in New York, A girl was playing this song on piano. I had been trying to find the song again for a long time only knowing that beautiful rhythm. When I finally found it years ago I think I cried. This song is so beautiful and pretty, I just love it. I hope everyone shares appreciation for this song like I do, And in years I’ll look back and say “Hey! Thats quite great.” ❤️
