It was 1966 ish. I happily lived in South East Louisiana with my five siblings and parents. We had not heard of The Who. I happened to turn 8 at the end of that year. My 12 year old brother purchased a package with three 45s in it. You couldn't see the middle record. Well, what boon for us when it happened to be Whisky Man/Happy Jack. Cory had all of us listen to this amazingly good song about this crazy alcoholic guy. I've been a fan ever since. The French Horn and Rickenbaker makes this song.
