The Ventures and the Beach Boys were the closest my Dad ever got to rock and roll but I am glad he introduced them to me. Of course when the Beach Boys grew their hair he disowned them but after that phase when they cut it he accepted them back. lol.

Spectaular! Glorious! Awesome!!!! Well, Im talking about the babe on the record cover, but their music is cool, too!

This is the first album that got me into surf music as a little boy. thanks to my dad for introducing me to The Ventures.

Have a lot of their albums. Love the Ventures music and have listened to them since I was a teen.

I learned to play the drums with this tune. First the bass drum only, then the cymbal, then the snare, and finally the rolls. Also taught a lot of friends to play the drums using this tune.

I was 14 years old in 1964 I wish we could bring back that culture today.

Awesome music.  I grew up listening to the Ventures music, the best instrumental group ever...

This was my favorite song off the album... My dad played this all the time... I was jamming out to this and looking at the girl at 5 years old lol.
