I agree with slant40. The fit well with Zappa. When I first heard this track on the flipside of "You Know What I Mean" -- I knew these guys were destined for Zappa land. They became the Phlorescent Flo and Eddie, and then just Flo and Eddie. When I heard they were part of Zappa I wasn't surprised. They earned the spot.
I bought the "You Know What I Mean" single when it came out. When I turned it over to hear this cheerful lunacy, I thought it was original Mothers lead singer Ray Collins moonlighting on the sly!
No wonder these guys fit in so well with FZ and the Mothers! This was the B side of "You Know What I Mean" (8/67) - I used to drive my Mom CRAZY playing this song. She couldn't stand it !
Sir or Madame do you have Person without a Care, Makin My Mind up, Think I'll Run Away, Me about You, Too Young to be one ---- Please Post if you do --- They are from the same album -- Great tunes
Evidently Howard Kaylan recorded this in one take. Is this true Howie? Very underated voclist of his generation. Mind you Volman and Al Nichol were not bad either.
