Sorry, but most of the original "hit" classic rock songs were originally blues songs written by black men. Like it or not, its a fact. The Trashmen were nice enough to acknowledge it as a "cover", but that was one of the few times. Im still a fan of classic rock but that doesnt mean Im going to lie about it!
