I'm in a loss for words... This song is something I will come back to every time in my life when I feel depressed or grieved.

I’ve listened to so many versions of this beautiful song, but this is by far my very favorite. Play it when you’re sad. Play it during romantic moments. Play it when you’re just chilling. Have a glass of wine. Be blue. RIP Miles.

My grandfather told me about this song when I was a little boy. He said it was a Rogers and Hart track called It Never Entered My Mind. He told me it was one of the most beautiful songs he'd ever heard. He passed away a few days ago. I'm filled with tears just thinking about him and the amazing generosity and beautiful spirit he and my grandma had. This is truly the end of the greatest generation. So selfless, amazingly kind spirited New Yorkers they were. RIP Peepaw I'll see you again one day.

Note to self: listen to more jazz this year.

Ending a long work day, come home, fill an "old fashion" glass with bourbon and listen to this, on the sofa. And your life time will expands ten years more. Is superb

I first heard this song years ago and instantly had a deep connection with it, but couldn't understand why. Years later, I met someone whom I fell in love in a way that I didn't know I was capable. I didn't know there is such a thing as sense of abandonment, that you're willing to take yourself off the pedestal, know that not everything is about yourself, and able to love someone else as if they are you. Unfortunately, we didn't stay together. I was young and certainly lacked the art of managing a love relationship. When I hear "it never entered my mind", I think to myself so many moments that my younger self didn't know, and the things that never entered my mind when I was young. So unbelievable is music, that within it, it describes feelings that can't be put into words. Regretful, yet never regret meeting him. Hopeful, yet knowing we likely won't be together in the future. Sad, yet appreciate my existence in this world, grateful that if it weren't for him, I would never have known love.
