These guys set the music stage for these modern artists. Thank God for thier sacrifices. They never got the type of acknowledgement that they deserved. I listened to them when I was a little boy; and I loved that music. Thanks for the post; and I hope I young folks will remember where they came from.

I don't know how this song got out to the public, but all the teenage house partys in the mid 1950s had the 45rpm record and it was a very popular song.
This is the first time I saw this on the solid green Federal label. My copy is on the "silver top" Federal format. Back when was 9, I found a copy on the "gold top" format, so I know this jam was released on all three label formats.
