I saw the Mars Volta open up for A Perfect Circle in 2003 in El Paso Texas... nobody knew who they were. I didn't know at the time ATDI had broken up and formed TMV. Its was the sickest, loudest, most insane opening act I'd ever seen. After the show I found out who they were and I was like oh makes sense... best show ever.
