this is a brilliant song. odd they'd disband just as they reached their creative peak

This song is very successful in evoking a very specific atmosphere, which is somewhat illustrated by the accompanying video, especially the senses of "descending" and "ascending".  The song itself is unique, but when I finally paid close attention to the video, that's when I really noticed the craft involved.
