Saw my buddy Will Callaham recently, who was an alternate singer with the group and grew up with Mr Smith, in the Richmond, Virginia area.I believe Mr Smith is the only original left.How could Tom Jones version be better since he had no backround Harmony singers?You can NEVER compare a solo performer`s effort to a group effort.The harmony really makes this song great!

Love it!  This fine group deserved better promotion and distribution.  Tight clean harmony, excellent lead voice.  One of my favorites.  Love those "shoops."

I thought this would have been a bigger hit, but it paved the way for "A Little Bit of Soap." Talented bunch of gentlemen.
