The original lineup Clarke, Nash, Hicks, Elliott, and Calvert were the best! The harmonies through each of their songs is exceptional! Nothing of the California sound of soupiness and mush. The English bands could produce beautiful harmonies better than the American bands could.

The Hollies have always been so underrated. This is my favorite Hollie’s song - Look Thru Any Window, Bus Stop, Long Cool Woman, He Ain’t Heavy and The Air That I Breathe are also excellent and miles ahead of any of today’s assortment of pure garbage. Alan Clarke, Graham Nash and Tony Hicks harmonies are incredible. Thank you Hollies and Congratulations on entry into Rock’s Hall of Fame many years late; but You Made It !!!
