I know he's not gay, but somehow he was able to encapsulate my experience so far with being gay, as well with others I know who are gay. This is like the untold the story, the behind the scenes of the human psyche for some of us,  behind all this LOVE YOURSELF crap fed in through the media.

I just came to terms with my bisexuality this passed weekend and it felt amazing until I told my girlfriend of two years who now can't stand to be with me knowing I think of others sexually, she's bi too btw. My good feelings hurt m, but this tune really soothes me.

i think i might have found the story behind the video, i may be wrong though. so the main character has been struggling with his sexuality and writes a letter to his lover who's a woman, (the translation at the beginning isn't what it actually says in spanish. it actually talks about how he likes wearing feminine clothing and how he stole her shoes). so he might have run off to be his true self, where he goes to the bar (either a drag bar or a gay bar). his lover gets the letter (the woman who grabs the bird). she reads it and isn't phased by it, considering that there's a woman beside her. so she possibly might be either bisexual or a lesbian and while he was gone, she decided to finally be with a woman where he couldn't see. so she's relieved. therefore it's ironic, since they both had gay thoughts and feelings. again, that's just what i observed. it may not actually be the story.

Why can't people just enjoy the song instead of arguing about how gay or not they are? Im straight as hell and this song is by far my favorite from the growlers and the message it has behind it actually sounds like something gay people experience, original video and the mexican "theme" just made it alot better! Great tune!

this song reminds so much of the time my dad came out and told us he felt like a woman. This is why I love the growlers they helped me a lot when I was trying to understand, accept, and process the reality of my dad as a woman.
