To lovestheclassics69...I just want to take the time to THANK YOU for the great channel you've developed (473 videos). I feel guilty every time I click on a tune after I see the incredible amount of work that you've done. Talk is cheap and it's easy for me to say...but please know that your work is appreciated very much by this DooWopper. Great job and please keep up the good work. Take care.
What a clever collection of unexpected rhymes, lyrics and cadences. Of course, The Fleetwoods' emblematic vocal interpretation is beautiful, as all in of their songs. This has become my favorite from them.
Not a big hit when it was released, but gained huge popularity when it appeared on the American Graffiti soundtrack. Great song so I'm very happy it got a second life.
Original recordings such as this one is hard to find these days... Beautiful sound by The Fleetwoods that still brings back memories of some of our best years listening to music of days gone bye... Thanks for the share & God Bless Always *Gail*
Gary Troxel, the male vocalist, said this song earned them the most money because it was in the movie “American Graffiti” and the soundtrack was a big seller.
