I'm Welsh and my nan use to sing this to me in bed every night before I went to sleep. Her mother and grandparents use to sing it to her because they were Irish!
I remember somebody singing this to me when I was so young I can't remember who it was. The most distinct memory I have is seeing the drunk guy in A Clockwork Orange singing it, but that definitely wasn't it...Lovely song.
