This song explains the disease that Jonny grew up with. Which was Religion and being raised by his Religious parents. He's saying that the Bible, the Church, and God was a scam. And that's when he realized that when he became an Atheist, he left his Church to travel the World and to aspire his Dreams through the symphonies of Music.
God doesn't exist, because Religion is instituted among innocent people to be controlled and tamed by it's Tyranny of rules and to drain Money from the Sick and the Poor. And that God never answered all these prayers and he allowed Slavery, Rape, Genocide, Disease, Hunger, and Natural Disasters to occur on his own creation of Earth, if he made it, why destroy its beautiful existence?
So all in all, this song is screaming to be free and to let go of believing in fairy tales and to just except reality as it is. Distance yourself from the Church, and forget what some Ancient book of contradictions written by Primitive Beings 2,000 years ago had to say.
