God, I get so pissed at bands of my young adulthood, not to mention my youth in the 70s being called "classic." You know I never hear the Crowes on classic stations. They only play 60s and 70s music usually. Why can't we just say this is some of the best music in the past 50 years.

Fantastic always love this band dating back to when they 1st came out good old rock and roll with a bit of a Southern twang and they're so unique in their style rock on Black Crowes

I'm 55 years old and remember the day when "shake your money maker" came out when I was in my early 30' and thinking that this is what true rock n roll should sound like

This brings me back. This song just has a good feeling to it. I can't explain it, perhaps it's nostalgia. This entire album recalls some of the happiest moments of my addictions.

Lyrics How could I've Been so blind? So empty that I've Never felt warm Can I spell it out? Turn myself out Of my home Looking like a fool Feeling even worse Than it seems Trying hard as nails Believing only in myself And now it looks Like innocence is gone I know right and I know what's wrong Feeling lonely that's The way it goes Sometimes But my greatest fear Paint a smile from Ear to ear Alone and crying Babe living like this is No better than dying I tell you baby things Are gonna change Looking like we were Caught out in the rain Feeling lonely that's The way it goes Sometimes Could I ever have been so blind? Could I ever have been so blind? Could I ever have been so blind? Could I ever have been so blind? Could I ever have been so blind? Eh Could I ever have been so blind? Hardest thing I Ever had to do Was stand up straight and Tell it all to you Look you right in the eye Tell you baby, Sorry but I have lied And now it looks Like innocence is gone I know right and I know what's wrong Feeling lonely that's The way it goes Sometimes Oh Could I ever have been so blind? Yes, Could I ever have been so blind? Oh Could I ever have been so blind? Yes, Could I ever have been so blind?

Helluva a debut album.... one of only a handful of 90's bands that embodied the essence of Rock and Roll. Raw dirty and wild.

What I've always loved about the Crowes is that they sing about reality, real life; love, loss, depressions, etc., etc. They are the last true R&R band from America. And I just love it that they are from the South as am I. We may have lost the Civil War but we won the battle in music for R&R supremacy and no I'm not a racist or a white nationalist; just a proud Southerner whose family goes back generations.
